MANATEE Cold Cast Bronze

This is a larger manatee than the mini, but when put together they both make  nice mother and baby manatees.  These were done when Foot had a gallery in Key West, and although there is a gallery called Bayscapes Gallery in Newport Beach, Oregon that carries Foot’s sculpture, stocks of the manatees are limited or may need to be made to order.  Contact the artist if interested in any of these manatee sculptures.

In Australia we have a relative of the manatee called the dugong.  It has a different tail and the body is more streamlined than the manatee, but they are very similar.  Foot has done a 3 metre high one for his home town of Airlie Beach out of the local black marble.  A few bronzes have been made from this, and it is possible to have a manatee made from this with the different tail.
