HOOK SILVER
$125.00
Foot spent several years sailing around the Pacific Ocean, during which time he made quite a lot of fish hooks similar to this one, but instead of gold or silver, they were done in the traditional materials that the islanders made their fish hooks from. Usually they were made of bone, boars tusk, sometimes timber with points of hard or sharp material, and they had many different types for different fish. Also each cultural group of islands had their traditional styles. There was a lashing to fiber where the loop is on these which are made to wear on a chain, or a piece of leather. Note that the chain is not included in the price, but a stout leather that is adjustable is included upon request. They are available in both gold and silver.
