Turtle Sleepy White Cast Marble

The Sleepy Turtle is doing what turtles do, they go to sleep often resting on the coral of the reef.  This sculpture is a life sized rendition of a Juvenile turtle in white cast marble.  They are also available in red and aqua cast marble, and also black and white; and black.  The master pattern was fashioned from many pieces of real coral washed up on the beaches of the Whitsundays, the turtle is equally detailed with onyx cabochons for eyes.  Foot puts stone eyes in all of his sculptures and this often triggers the comment that they are looking back at you. This white cast marble one has had the coral area deliberately darkened to enhance the turtle.

The size of this piece is 25 cm high by 46 long by 30 cm deep.  It weighs in at 19 kgs. and can be posted anywhere on the globe reasonably.
