TORSO ANNIE

This sculpture was done as a lead up to the full body sculptures which were later created. The model was named Annie, hence the title. It can also be done in the bronze if requested. An interesting bit of info for anyone contemplating putting sculpture outdoors, but the cold cast bronze that Foot produces has a remarkable resistance to the elements.  Marble loses it’s polish and then the mould will set in after many year unless cleaned regularly.  Although the polish can be preserved with a clear coat of automotive lacquer, the bronze even uncoated will maintain itself and evolve into a pleasant soft slightly iridescent colour.
