The Sea Lion Loafer is another study for the life sized one made for Singapore’s World Trade Centre. The word Singapore in Mandarin means city of lions, and as the tiny nation revolves around it’s world class port, the progressive government decided to upgrade the tradional Chinese style Lion logo to a more modern Sea Lion style. Hence they commissioned several Sea Lions by various artists.
This one is available in every medium including bronze and alloy. He was scaled up to life size, and that size is available in hot cast bronze.
