The legendary Phoenix Bird, symbol of rebirth, this rendition is taken from the original timber Phoenix Bird done for the Hamilton Island Resort after the tragic fire gutted it in 1985, soon after it was opened. Keith Williams rebuilt it and thought the large timber sculpture Foot created was a fitting tribute.
