Manta Ray Original in Blue Crystal Marble by Sonya Moran

This large Eagle Ray was done by Sonya Moran when she was Foot’s partner.  Sonya got quite good at carving rays, this one was placed in the pool in the new resort at the time until the pool was later removed. It was carved out of a block of the large blue crystal marble from Chillagoe.  It has black onyx eye inserts, and it would look great either place above the water as shown, or submerged to a shallow depth.   Foot still produces castings from two of Sonya’s smaller manta rays
